This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant! They give you free chips and salsa and the potions are big. I’ve been happy with everything I’ve tried here lunch or dinner. I definitely recommend checking them out! Update: still love coming here in 2025. Consistently good food quality and an absolutely beautiful restaurant

Since moving to CNY from Southern California I’ve been trying to find a decent Mexican food restaurant, I’ve tried so many and none at all are better than here! Please believe me this is the best Mexican food I’ve had in YEARS. The flavor is amazing, the service is quick and the atmosphere is perfect. Will 100% be back and trying everything on the menu.
Best Mexican food in the great Syracuse area in my opinion. They have large portions and delicious food. The service was prompt and thorough. They only down side to Tres Primos is that they have limited space. So be prepared to wait for a table, but the food is well worth it!

We have lived in Arizona where there is amazing Mexican food! Tres Primos was suggested to us and I was unsure of how good Mexican food would be in New York. Can I just say it was amazing!! As good of not better than any other Mexican Restaurant we have been to. The service was great, we loved the artwork on the tables and chairs. The decor was fun and bright. All 3 of us loved our meals. The portions were extremely generous. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!
The best spot for authentic Mexican food in the area! The chimichangas are fantastic. Service is quick and prices are very fair (bottled beer is no more than 3-5 dollars a bottle!) I'll definitely be back in the future.
We moved out of Elbridge and happened to be passing through town. Friends have told us about the food so we had to stop. Our meals were fantastic! Friendly staff, quick service - the place was packed on a Friday night and they still brought the food out quickly all things considered. I had the street tacos and the beef was so tender and flavorful. Looks like we're going to have to make the hour drive more often to stop again.
